SwiftVisit is a field-sales app for company sales representatives and their managers. It is operated by Anas Raed ("SwiftVisit", "we", "us"), based in the Arab Republic of Egypt. This policy explains what information the SwiftVisit app and its related services collect, how it is used, and the choices you have.

SwiftVisit is provided to companies ("your company"), which create and manage their staff accounts. Your company decides how SwiftVisit is used within its team and controls the business data entered into it. We process that data on your company's behalf and according to its instructions. If you have questions about how your company uses your data, please contact your company administrator.

1. Information we collect

  • Account and profile information: your name, work email address, role, company, and, if you add one, a profile picture. Your company administrator creates your account; there is no public sign-up.
  • Location information: the precise and approximate location of your device. See section 3.
  • Work activity: the visits, schedules, notes, sales, orders, payment collections, and related records you create or update, including photos of receipts and documents you attach.
  • Client and contact information: details of the clients and business contacts your company manages in SwiftVisit, such as names, addresses, phone numbers, and map locations.
  • Camera and photos: when you choose to take a photo or pick an image or file (for example a profile picture or a receipt), the app only accesses the photo or file you choose. We do not scan your photo library.
  • Device and technical information: your push notification token, app version, device model, operating system, and crash and error reports.
  • Activity events: events such as a visit being started or completed, a sale recorded, a payment collected, or arrival at a client, used to show performance and targets to you and your company.

2. How we use information

  • To provide the app: signing you in, showing your schedule, clients, and products, recording visits, sales, and collections, and planning routes.
  • To send you notifications, such as visit reminders and schedule updates.
  • To let your company's managers review team activity, targets, and performance.
  • To keep SwiftVisit secure, prevent misuse, and fix crashes and errors.
  • To comply with legal obligations.

We do not sell your personal information, we do not use it for advertising, and the app contains no ads.

3. Location data

  • While the app is open: SwiftVisit uses your location to show where you are on the map, plan routes to clients, and detect when you arrive at a scheduled visit. While the app is open, your latest location (with its time and accuracy) is sent to our servers about once a minute when you move, so your managers can see where team members are.
  • In the background: if you allow location access "All the time", SwiftVisit collects location data to remind you to log your visit when you arrive at a client planned for today, even when the app is closed or not in use. This uses your phone's geofencing service for today's planned visits only. Background location is not used to send your position to your managers.
  • Your choices: background location is optional. You can change location access at any time in your phone settings. If you turn it off, the app keeps working, but arrival reminders only work while the app is open.
  • Visit records and arrival events record which client you visited and when, and are visible to your company.

4. How information is shared

  • With your company: managers and administrators in your company can see the data you enter and your latest location, as described above.
  • With service providers that run SwiftVisit for us, only as needed to provide the service:
    • Appwrite — cloud database, file storage, and sign-in, hosted in Frankfurt, Germany.
    • Mapbox — maps, route directions, and address search. Mapbox receives the map area and the coordinates being searched or routed.
    • Expo — app updates and push notification delivery.
    • Google Firebase Cloud Messaging — push notification delivery on Android.
    • Sentry — crash and error reporting, including your user ID and email address.
  • When required by law, or to protect the rights, safety, and security of our users, your company, or us.

We do not share your information with anyone outside your company for their own marketing.

5. International transfers

Our service providers may process data outside Egypt, including in the European Union and the United States. We use providers that apply appropriate safeguards to protect your information.

6. Data retention

  • We keep your account and work data for as long as your company uses SwiftVisit, or until your company deletes it.
  • Only your latest location is kept for team visibility. It is replaced each time a new location is sent.
  • Crash reports are deleted automatically within 90 days.
  • Some data is stored on your device (such as cached schedules) so the app works offline. It is removed when you uninstall the app.
  • When your account is deleted, your login and profile are deleted. Your company may keep business records such as sales and collections for its accounting and legal needs.

7. Account deletion and your rights

  • Accounts are created and deleted by your company. To delete your account, ask your company administrator, who can delete it from the SwiftVisit web portal. You can also email support@swiftvisit.app from your work email and we will forward your request to your company, normally within 30 days.
  • Deletion details: https://swiftvisit.app/delete-account
  • Subject to applicable law, including Egypt's Personal Data Protection Law (Law No. 151 of 2020), you can ask to access, correct, or delete your personal data, and you can withdraw consent (for example to location access) at any time.

8. Security

Data is encrypted in transit using HTTPS, and access to each company's data is limited to members of that company. No method is completely secure, but we work to protect your information.

9. Children

SwiftVisit is a business app for adults at work. It is not directed to anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect their information.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. We will post the new version in the app and at https://swiftvisit.app/privacy, and for significant changes we will ask you to review it in the app.
